Geraldine Baxter died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 3:09am surrounded by family in Aiken, South Carolina. She was born, November 13, 1935 in Rector, Arkansas, the daughter of Cecil and Connie O’Bryan. She married Bud Baxter on July 15, 1953 and was a dedicated Mother and faithful housewife. Geraldine was also a faithful member of Silver Hill Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include sons; Terry (Juanita), Steve (Tamie); daughter, Diann (Mark); grandchildren; Denise, Jennifer, Billy, Nathan, Connie, Erin, Rachel, Steve, Sheldon, and Brittney; and 15 great-grandchildren. Sister Jane (Joe) Samaniego, son in laws Robert Hawks, Dennis Grottke; daughter-in-law, Trisha Whiting and many special relatives.
Pre-deceased by her husband Bud, daughters Janet and Barbara, her son Kirk, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral service Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00am at Silver Hill Pentecostal Church, 4401 20th St. Rockford Il, with Bishop Robert Bailey officiating. Interment will be held in Willwood Burial Park. Visitation Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pm at church and continues on Wednesday from 9:00-9:45am.
