George Fulkerson

ROCKFORD George Fulkerson died Saturday August 28, 2010 at home. Born January 7, 1930 in Kentucky. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Anita; sons, Gene (Ellie) Fulkerson of Joplin ,MO., Fred (Billie) Franck, Danny (Sadie) Fulkerson and Brian (Judy) Fulkerson all of Rockford; sisters, Nina McBrayer (Lexington , KY), Mary Hellen Voyles, and Etta Myrle(Earl) Rearden of Tell City, IN. 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren as well as 9 nieces and nephews. Preceased in death by his parents, brothers Roy Lee Fulkerson, Vernon Fulkerson and Raymond Fulkerson, and sisters Viola Voyles and Hattie Davis.Memorial service Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation Wed. from 6:00 until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society.
