Gary Lee Bagwell

Gary Lee Bagwell, 57, of Rockford, passed away at 2:52 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2008 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born on January 10, 1952; the son of Thatcher and Patricia (Glover) Bagwell. He married Barbara J. Kjellstrom on December 5, 1970 in Rockford. Gary was the owner of Beechner Heat Treating. He enjoyed building and racing stock cars for over 30 years and he especially liked the ""muscle cars"" of the 60s. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; son, Brian (Tonya Mund) Bagwell; mother, Patricia Bagwell and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his father, Thatcher on May 15, 1983. Cremation rites will be accorded. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108 assisted the family.
