G. Thomas Schneeman, Jr. 43, Rockford, was taken to eternal rest on Monday, June 8, 2009 in his home. Born July 30, 1965 in Oak Park, son of Gerald T. Schneeman, Sr. and Ann Marie Riganti Schneeman. Graduated from Lutheran High School in 1983. He began his career as a land surveyor for Schneeman Associates and had also previously worked at Schlichting amp; Sons Excavating. He was presently a realtor and developer, having last been employed by RE/MAX. Member of Rockford Association of Realtors. Thomas was a compassionate, generous, sensitive and good hearted man. He was always a loyal friend with a good sense of humor. Survivors include his spouse, Carrie and he was blessed with 2 beautiful children that he loved greatly; daughter, Caitlyn Marie; son, Jake Amedeo; mother, Ann Marie Schneeman; father, Gary Schneeman; sisters, Ann (Joe) Carmine and Anee Schneeman; half-sister, Kim McCormick; nieces and nephews, Amedeo Joseph (AJ) Carmine, Amelie Mara Carmine and Brenna, Erin and Alex Murphy. Predeceased by his grandparents. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Bishop Michael Polizzotto of Rockford First Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Burial in St. Mary/St. James Cemetery.
