Rockford: Freda Morell went to be with the Lord after a short battle with cancer. She passed from this life and into Glory on September 20th, 2013, surrounded by her family. Born in Newport, Tennessee on March 4th, 1944, to Juanita and Robert Frazier. On September 1st, 1961, she married the love of her life, Joseph Morell. Together they had four children who love them dearly. She was the sparkplug of the family who kept everyone together during good times and bad. She especially enjoyed working in her yard and tending her flower gardens, as well as daily visits with her sister, Anna Taylor. Freda is survived by her loving husband, Joe Sr; children, Joe Morell Jr (Diana), Tracy Morell, Brian Morell (Meggan), Aimee Watton (Aaron); grandchildren, Lexie and Alaina Morell, Carl Choppi, Brennan, Collin, and Aidan Morell, Ashlyn and Aaron Watton; sisters, Anna Taylor, Theda Williams, and Terri Cody, and brother, John F. Frazier. Predeceased by her parents, her sister, Myra Cook, and her brother, Bobby Frazier.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 10:30AM at Water of Life Ministries, 2420 New Milford Church Rd, with Pastor Daniel Hernandez officiating.
