Francis B. Henricks, 95, lifelong resident of Rockford, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in his Texas home. Francis was born July 24, 1913, the son of Frank and Matie (Brennan) Henricks. Francis married his loving wife of 70 years, Virginia J. Campobello on July 10, 1937 in St. Peter Catholic Church. Francis and Virginia met when they worked together at Nelson Knitting Factory. He was a US Postal Carrier for 35 years and also worked and retired from Warner Lambert. Survivors include his sons, Jack (Kathy) of Boyne City, Richard ""Gene"" (Susan) of Dubuque, IA, and Bob (Gisela) of Fairbanks, AK daughter, Ginger (Ross) Wehling of Alhambra; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Betty) and several nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia in 2007, great grandson, Jayden Smith and sister, Lorraine Moore. Funeral Mass Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel E. Peters officiating. Entombment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. An informal visitation will be held on Tuesday Sept. 30 from 5-7 p.m. in his Rockford home and will continue on Wednesday, in St. Bernadette Parish Hall from 9 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to: Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation, 3200 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 1601, South Tower, Los Angels, CA 90010. Fitzgerald Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
