Frances Lily Vittorio, of Freeport, formerly of Machesney Park, died on August 29 at Liberty Village of Freeport.nbsp; Frances was born on July 13, 1914 in Freeport, IL the daughter of Elmer and Harriett (Hiveley) Love.nbsp; Frances married Paul A. Vittorio in Freeport on August 10, 1935. nbsp; Frances had worked at Goldblatts as a head cashier for five years and as a bookkeeper for Burgess Battery for five years before retiring in 1961.nbsp; She loved counted cross stitch and quilting and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church,nbsp; a five year member of the Womens Bazaar at Holy Family and a member of the Three Musketeers (quilting group). nbsp; Frances is survived by her daughters, Janet (Bob) Kearns of Loves Park, Sharon Lenz of Loves Park and Sue (John) Krier) of Freeport; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mae Bratrud, June Erdman and Nellie Endress and her brothers Neal and Glenn Manthei.nbsp; Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul (Dec.15, 2001), 3 brothers , one sister, one grandson, one great-granddaughter and her dear friends Ann Hassett, Mary Famigetti and Roy and Dora Frint. nbsp; A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd. with Rev. Msgr. Thomas E. Bales officiating followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.nbsp; A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am 10:15 am at the church.
