Frances J. Fiorello

Frances J. Fiorello, 92, of Rockford passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 after a brief illness. She was born in Rockford on June 16, 1921; the daughter of Anthony and Catherine (DiGiovanni) Gagliano. She married Roy W. Fiorello, Sr. on June 12, 1948. From this union four children were born. Frances was employed at Bergner's for 18 years and at Guilford High cafeteria. She was very involved in scouting, an honorary P.T.A member, a member of St. Mary's Club and Holy Family Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Rosalie (Bill) Krall of Byron, Kathy (Mark) Park of Huntley and Carolyn (Lt. Col. Patrick) Wright of Gig Harbor, WA; son, Roy (Barbara) Fiorello, Jr. of Rockford; 9 grandchildren, Bill (Melissa) Krall, Jr and John (Lisa) Krall both of Byron, Hillary (Richard) Brodsky, of St. Louis Park, MN, Eric Park of St. Louis Park, MN, Lauren Park of Minneapolis, MN, Lisa (Jim) Thomson of Arlington, VA, Roy Fiorello III of Rockford, Nicolas and Amelia Wright of Gig Harbor, WA; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Jacob, Ava, Jaxson and Beckett Krall and Katherine 'Kat' Brodsky; sister-in-law, Marie Gagliano. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Roy on December 23, 1999 and brother, Joseph.
Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Friday, January 10, 2014 in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd. Visitation from 10:00 am until the time of Mass. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
