Frances I. (Smith) Szell Dulmage

Frances Smith Szell Dulmage of Rockford, Illinois died July 31, 2023 at Javon Bea Hospital. Born March 19, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio. The daughter of Gerard and Louise (Loske) Smith. She graduated from Trinity High School, Cleveland, Ohio 1947. In 1949 she married Charles Szell and they raised three sons. She was employed at Pesco Products, Bedford Heights, Ohio for 15 years as an Executive Secretary in the Engineering Department. In 1972 she married Judson Dulmage and they moved to Rockford, Illinois. She was employed at Warner Lambert Company, Loves Park, Illinois as an Administrative Assistant in the Engineering Department for 15 years before retiring in 1991. She loved playing golf, bridge, reading, board games and puzzles. Her hobbies were crafting, crocheting and knitting. 

She is predeceased by her first husband Charles Szell, second husband Judson Dulmage, both parents and sister Jean Lucak and daughter-in-law Donna Szell. Survived by children Jerry (Dreama) Szell of Bedford, Ohio; Chuck (Pamela) Szell of Northfield, Ohio; Kenneth (Judy) Szell of Roscoe, Illinois. Grandchildren Niki Chuppa, Shannon Szell, Jerrod Szell (Katie Rebek), Carly (Scott) Horiba, Kelly Szell (Geoff Saxe), Chuck Szell, Kenley Szell (Fallan) and Kallen Szell (Raeann). Great grandchildren Zachary, Patrick, Doris, Eleanor & Iris. Sister Mary Lou Dyer, Detroit, Michigan and Brother Jim (Mary Lou) Nehas, Bedford, Ohio. Extended family - Stepchildren Jay, Paul (Bernie), Jeff, Joel, Michael, and Dee Dee (Paul) Beran;, Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Rockford, Illinois will be assisting the family.
