Frances Fran B. Olson, 92, resident of Wesley Willows in Rockford, passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born April 5, 1915; the daughter of Stanley and Mary Jane (Brain) Adams. She was a 1932 Graduate of Rockford High School. Fran married Elmer Ford Olson in Rockford on June 5, 1937; he predeceased her on March 5, 2000. She was a 1932 Graduate of Rockford High School. Fran enjoyed making dresses at various dress shops in town and also at home. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Fran was also a member of Daughters of the Nile, Alabet Temple, Womens Club YMCA and a former member of Winnebago County Homemakers as the 4-H leader for 15 years. She also enjoyed sewing quilts and gowns for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Survivors include her daughter, Jacquelyn (David) Tanner; son, Dennis Olson; grandchildren, Julie (Kevin) Brock, Jeff Olson, Alison (Steven) Migala, Amy (Christopher) Kamin; and great-grandchildren, Garrett Brock and Brandon Migala. Predeceased by her husband, parents and brother, Everett Adams. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on June 9, 2007 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4055 N. Rockton Ave. withnbsp; Reverend Thomas Hardwick officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation to be held from 10:00 A.M - 11:00 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave. Chicago, ILnbsp; 60707.
