Florence S. Janczak

Florence S. Janczak, 85, lifelong Rockford resident, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in her home. Born March 1, 1926, daughter of Joseph and Anna Romanczuk. Married Edward W. Janczak in Rockford on April 19, 1944. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Florence was a good mother and a wonderful cook. She loved to bake and always enjoyed the beautiful flowers that she grew and took care of.Survivors include her sons, Larry Janczak, Roscoe and David Janczak, Rockford; grandchildren, Molly Gentry, Scott Janczak and Makayla Janczak; great-grandson, Dylan Janczak and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband on March 1, 2008, her parents; son, Don "Wally" Janczak on January 5, 2011; daughter-in-law, Jane Janczak on August 28, 2005; brothers, Ed and Joe Romanczuk and her sister, Helen Eyster.A burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
