Felicia Gulotta

Felicia Gulotta, 97 of Rockford , died Friday, December 10, 2010 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born, April 18, 1913 in Burgio, Sicily , Daughter of of Francesco & Catarina Miceli, she was the youngest of 8 children. Married her loving Husband Vincenzo Gulotta on January 18, 1938. She came to the United States in 1956 from Sicily. Member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Survivors include sons, Peter (Filomena) Gulotta of Rockford and Frank Gulotta of Rockford ; grandchildren, Felicia Gulotta and Vince (Anne) Gulotta; great grandchildren, Zack and Bianca Pearson and Dominic Gulotta; numerous nieces and nephews and her special niece Grace who lives in England. Her family would like to extend a sincere Thank you to Dr Herdeman, Heartland Hospice staff especially Sara & Vicky and the staff at River Bluff Nursing Home Cardinal wing for taken such great care of her. Funeral Mass at 11:00am Thursday, December 16, 2010 in St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive. Visitation Thursday from 10:00am until time of Mass in the church. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens . In lieu of flowers memorials to the family. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford chapel is assisting the family.
