Faye L. Delmore

Faye L. Delmore Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister and Aunt Faye L. Delmore, 78, of Rockford, IL, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2009 in her home after a long illness. Faye was born November 18, 1930 in Watertown, South Dakota the daughter of Burl and Olive (Welsh) Warnes. Faye married Francis J. Delmore on January 31, 1959. Faye attended St. James Catholic School and Muldoon High School. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. Faye was a dedicated member of St. Rita Catholic Church and was a volunteer for St. Rita funeral luncheons. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and making ceramic dolls. Faye is survived by her children, Beverly Nandi, James (Kris) Delmore, Kathy Delmore and Patrick Delmore; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; four sisters and many nieces and nephews. Faye was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Francis (Oct. 7, 2003) and her son, Robert Delmore. Special thank you to Hospice and the staff at OSF Cancer Treatment Center.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 10 A.M. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive, Rockford with Rev. Matthew Camaioni officiating. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 9 A.M. - 9:45 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Rita Catholic Church.
