Rockford-Eugene F. Aldridge, 66 of Rockford died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born April 15, 1944 to Dane and Jennie (Blackburn) Aldridge in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Served in the US Army. Avid Bears fan and loved spending time with his family. With his quick wit and humor that never failed to put a smile on your face, his care for others never went unknown as he always told friends and family he loved them

Survivors; Wife, Ruth; Sons, Randall (Dawn) Clark and Richard (Kelly) Beasley; Daughters, Renea Lamb and Debra Aldridge; Grandchildren April, Tyler, Alissa, Jesse, Ricky and Kayla; Brother David Aldridge, morristown, TN.nbsp;Predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters Gladys and Irene and brother Ray.

Funeral Service 6 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Road with Pastor Joe DiVerdi officiating. Visitation 5 to 5:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for an establishment to be named at a later date.
