Ethelda M. Piper

Ethelda "Betty" Marjorie Piper 92 of Rockford passed away Monday December 24, 2012 in her home. She was born July 31, 1920 in Shullsburg, WI. The daughter of Leroy and Lydia Ingram. Betty married Norval D. "Buster" Piper on June 10, 1939. He predeceased her on March 29, 1985. She worked at Amerock for 30 years. Betty was a member of St. Bernadette Church, Woman of the Moose and the Alpha Organization. Survivors include her two daughters, Joan (Robert) St. Clair of Loves Park and Claudia Grenert of Rockford. Grandchildren, Kelly Spera of Rockford, Dan (Alana) Spera of Rockford and Cassandra (Tony) Bonnet of Roscoe. Great grandchildren, Daxx, Isabella and Dominic Spera, Taylor and Jacob Fischer. Numerous nieces and nephews. Special care giver, Regina. The family would like to thank VNA Hospice for their care and support of Betty. Funeral Mass at 10am Friday December 28, 2012 in St Bernadette Catholic Church. Burial in Willwood Cemetery. Visitation from 9am until 9:45 Friday in the church.
