Erlinda D. Wilson, 82, of Roscoe, passed away on March 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Tondo, Manila, Philippines, the daughter of Pedro and Carmen Duallo. Erlinda came to the United States in 1969 and obtained her citizenship in 1974. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, gambling, poker, and bingo. In her younger years, she enjoyed taking her kids for bike rides. She had a passion for cooking, especially for her traditional Filipino dishes, like lumpia. Known as a jokester to her family, she took great care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, even if she called them by a different name every time. She was a loving, strong, and sometimes stubborn Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Friend.

She is survived by those who loved her most, her children, Jeanette Basile-Smith (Glenn), Daniel (Joni) Basile, Lisa (Tony Wineke) Basile, Roberto De Leon, and Cindy Bartholomew; grandchildren, Chrissy, Jessica, Jacob, Danielle, Danica (Zack), Dominique (Ben) Wyatt, Nolan, and Hannah; great grandchildren, Brenen, Rowan, Lydiah, Everly, Aria, Aubrey, and Laydens; former daughter-in-law, Ging Basile; numerous siblings; special friends, Cora, Cecelia, Rowena, Emma, Ludy, Bob, Lilet, and Ron; and many other family members in the Philippines. She is predeceased by her parents, granddaughters, Jamie Smith and Cassandra Mooney; and former husbands, Daniel Basile Jr. and James Wilson.

Private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Please share memories and condolences online.
