Emma Jordan

Emma Jordan, 65, of Loves Park passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born November 20, 1950 in Newark, NJ., the daughter of Thomas and Anna Veronica (Heady) Goedert. Worked for Amerock for many years and enjoyed baking, crafting and riding on a motorcycle. Emma was very involved in with the happenings at Park Towers where she lived for many years. She was part of the Business Committee and was the Social Director and was sure to have fun parties and activities planned for the other residents. Her biggest joy in life was being a grandma or as some called her Framma or Gramcracker. She was a kind and caring woman who you could count on to always be there, she will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Survivors include her children, Blake (Lori) Thompson, Tracy (Todd) Lueck, Stevie Jordan and Brandi Jordan; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother, Tom (Sue) Goedert and sisters, Patricia (Eric) Beck and Donna Mattingly. Preceded in death by her Parents and brother, Harry Goedert. A celebration of her life will be held on November 20, 2016 at Park Towers, 540 Clifford Ave. Loves Park in the Community Room from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family.
