Elsie J. Champayne- Britz, 82 of Rockford passed away January 6, 2008 in her home. Born December 26, 1925, the daughter of Roy and Gladys (Chase) Champayne. Elsie was the proud co- owner and manager of the Chambric Farms, located inWinnebago County. She is survived by her daughters Leslie (John) James, Margo Dutton and Gretchen (Keith Tutterrow) MacVenn. Grandchildren Lori, Lynn, Stuart, Jessica, Stephanie, Melissa and Harry McGregor MacVenn IV ""Greg"" . Great-grandchildren Leia, Lydia and Fiona. Sister Audrey Berry and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband Henry Britz, brother Roy Champayne Jr. and sister Opal Ancona. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, with the Rev. Dr. William R. Kerr, Sr. officiating.
