Ellen Keho

Ellen “Nell” Keho 86 of Rockford passed away Friday November 11, 2016 in Rock River Health. She was born July 3, 1930 in Porta Down, Northern Ireland, County Armaugh. Nell grew up in Northern Ireland and was raised in Belfast. She married John Keho. She worked for the Hostess House for many years.
Survivors include her husband John. Her son: Randy Keho. Grandchildren: Meghan Keho and Patrick Keho. Great grandchildren: Tristen and Patrick Jr... Predeceased by her parents. Siblings: Dorothy Conway, Albert Hodgen, Jack Hodgen, Violet McGuigan, Carole McFerran and Lillie Kirkpatrick. Nell was very proud of her Irish heritage and was an accomplished Irish step dancer, earning many awards.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Third Presbyterian Church, 1221 Custer Ave. Rockford, IL 61103. Memorials and flowers to the church.
