Ella R. Schiro

Ella R. Schiro, 89, of Rockford died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Presence Saint Anne Center. Born June 28, 1926 the daughter of Anton “Tony” and Marcella White. Married her childhood sweetheart, Louis Schiro at St. Anthony's Church on July 14, 1946.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol (Kent) Gustafson and Frances (Walt) Kargol; grandson, Jeff (Sharon) Edmunds; great-grandsons, Josh, Jacob and Kaleb Edmunds; sister, Stella (Leonard) Virgili; special niece, Fran (Ron) Tomlinson and special nephew, Ernie (Chris) Huey. Predeceased by her parents; husband Louis in 2013.
Funeral Mass Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Pauda Catholic Church, 1010 Ferguson St. Visitation from 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago. In lieu of flowers please have a Mass in her name .
