Elizabeth Betty Mae Stringham, 104, of Rockford, died Friday, January 30, 2009 in her daughters home. Born July 12, 1904 in Spring Valley the daughter of Gabriel and Theophulla (Vasoleski) Raudonis. Worked for Greenlee Brothers in parcel post and packaging, retiring in 1969 after 25 faithful years of service. She has been a member of St. Edward Catholic Church for over 65 years. Survivors include her daughters, Jeannine (Jim) Cook of Rockford and Rita (George) Morgan of CA; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; 1 brother and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by a son, Richard Riley, 1 sister, 4 brothers and a great grandchild. Funeral Mass at St. Edward Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009. Visitation Wed. Feb. 4 from 5:00 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with a Rosary Service to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation to continue Thursday in the church.
