Elisabeth Erhardt

Elisabeth Erhardt, 88, Rockford, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 2, 2009.  Born March 12, 1921 in Hungary, daughter of Malwina and Zygmunt Katz.  Married the love of her life, Stefan Erhardt in Passau, Germany on June 25, 1947.  Elisabeth was the  fashion buyer for Connies and later at Sturtevants for many years.  Survivors include her nieces, Susan Friedland and Barbara Palgan; nephews, Robert Friedland and Eric Friedland and her dear friend, Pamela Fox Maggio.  Predeceased by her husband, her beloved daughter, Ingrid Ellen Erhardt and her  sisters, Ilona Friedland and Anna Kluka. Services will be scheduled at a later date.  The family was assisted by Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
