Elijah Robert Dusavage-Louis

Elijah Robert Dusavage-Louis, infant, of Rockford, died January 4, 2008 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born, January 3, 2008 to Karissa Dusavage and Robert Louis. Elijah was a brave little fighter. His parents will never forget the fight he put forth even though the complications became too great. They will forever cherish the brief, yet precious time they had with him. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Durkee of Rock Valley Womens Health Center and Rockford Memorial Hospital Nurses in High Risk Pregnancy, Labor and Delivery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Survivors include his parents; maternal grandparents, Jeff (Toni) Dusavage, Athena Dusavage; paternal grandparents, Marcy (Mike) Hall, Joe (Rayna) Louis; aunts and uncles, Seth (Shannon) Dusavage, Andrea Debuhr, Jerry (Megan) Grosstick and Sarah Louis and numerous extended family members. Preceded in death by his uncle Eric, Great Grandmother, Doris Knight, Great Grandfather, Gerald Dusavage and cousin, Aaron Grissom. Funeral Services Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave with Rev. Dr. William R. Kerr officiating. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 10:30 until time of service. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the family
