Edmund W. Janczak, 83, Rockford, died at 9:40 A.M., Saturday, March 1, 2008, in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.nbsp; Born November 6, 1924, in Rockford, the son of Marion and Stephanie Janczak.nbsp; He and his wife, Florence, were married on April 19, 1947 in Rockford.nbsp; Edmund was a tool and die maker at Barber-Coleman Co. for over 30 years retiring in 1986.nbsp; He was a WWII veteran of the Air Force serving in the Philippines and New Guinea. He is survived by is wife of 60 years, Florence; 3 sons, Larry of Roscoe, Donald (Elaine) of Mauston, WI, and David of Rockford; 3 grandchildren, Molly (Kinney) Gentry, Scott (his fianca(c), Courtney) Janczak, and Makayla Janczak; his great grandson, Dylan Janczak; brother, Harry Janczak; and sister-in-law, Joanne Janczak.nbsp; Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Frank and Eugene; his sister, Jane Kotarski; and daughter-in-law, Shirley Jane Janczak. Private family services will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.
