Earl Ray "Mick" Richards Iii

Earl Ray “Mick” Richards III, 53, of Rockford passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017. Born August 6, 1963, in Joliet, the son of Earl Ray and Nancy E. (Roland) Richards II. He was a veteran serving in the US Army. Mick worked in sales for the Anderson Automotive Group.
Lovingly survived by his father, Earl Ray Richards II; significant other, Gidget Ross; children, Earl Ray “Michael” Richards IV, Zachary and Breanna Richards, Sean Ross, Samuel Richards and Ally Richards; siblings, Matthew Richards, Denise Shain, Michelle Lowe and Ed Sunday; grandchildren, Avee Richards, Nelly Richards, Amelia Richards, Earl Ray “EJ” Richards V and Madilyn Richards; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Nancy.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 South Mulford Road. Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and will continue on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund for Mick's youngest children, Samuel and Ally.
