Earl A. Whipple

Earl A. Whipple, 76, Byron, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Amberwood Care Centre. He was born December 9, 1941, in Sterling, the son of Harold and Edith (Allen) Whipple. He married Patricia Schwitters in Byron on March 11, 1967. Earl farmed in the Byron area most of his life and also worked as a machinist for various companies in the Rockford area. He enjoyed working on his tractors and tinkering around his farm. Earl loved his daily walks with his dog, Paris.
Survived by his wife, Pat; children, Wesley Whipple of Wyoming, Terri (Kevin Druien) Roeser of Dixon, Rebecca (Willis) Ransier of Helena, MT, and Bradley (Julie) Frye of Byron; his grandchildren, Tessa Whipple, Ryan and Kyle Roeser, Justin White, Cory Budak, Joshua Frye, and Courtney (Nickolas) Williams; his great-grandchildren, Connor and Logan Williams; his sisters, Thelma Collins and Phyllis (Danny) Jeans; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Paris. Predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Dann and his wife Ilene and Harry Whipple; his brother-in-law, Richard Collins.
