Dylan Ray Hals

Dylan Ray Hals 16 of Rockton passed away on October 25, 2009.  He was born January 8, 1993 in Norwich, CT, son of Joe (Suni) Hals and Jodi Robare.  Dylan was a Junior at Honenegah High School where he was a member of the Drama Club and had the lead in the Schools upcoming play, he loved to sing and dance..Dylan was the best son ever, he was the most loving and sensitive son, with a loving smile.  He always wanted everyone to be happy and too laugh.  He also meant the world as a brother.Survivors include his Father Joe of South Beloit and his mother Jodi of Rockton.  Brothers and sisters; Amanda Hals, Matthew Hals, Katherine (John) Merganz  and Jordan Hals.  Maternal Grandparents; Joyce (Raymond)  Tieman and David Dettore.  Aunts; Tina (Barry) Lund, Raylene (Ray) Ferrari, Jenny Rutgens, Donna (Jerry) Thornstad.  Uncles; Alan (Cindy) Hals, Randy Tieman, Ernie (Tonya) Hals, Gordon Hals,Christopher Dettore and David Dettore Jr.  Niece; Haylei  Escobar.  And many adoring cousins and friends.He was predeceased by his Paternal Grandparents; Olan (Glenna) HalsServices will be at 12 pm Thursday October 29, 2009 in Roscoe United Methodist Church with Pastor Randy Young officiating.  Visitation at the church on Thursday from 9am until time of service.  In lieu of flowers  memorial to be established by the family.  Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL assisted the family.
