Douglas J. Proctor

February 15, 1957 — October 23, 2013

Douglas J. Proctor, 56, of Rockford, died Wednesday.

Doug was born Feb. 15, 1957, the son of Paul and June Ney Proctor. Doug was also a loving little brother to his sister, Barb (Bernie) Drake in Peoria, who regarded Doug as another son. Other survivors include Doug's special uncle, Bill (Pat) Proctor, in Parkman, Ohio; nephews Todd (Janet) Drake in Denver, CO, and Brent (Maria) Drake in West Lafayette, IN; and many beloved aunts and cousins. He treasured family gatherings.

Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Peoria, Pastor Jim Carlson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sprngdale Mausoleum.
