Dorothy L. Welter

Dorothy L. Welter, 82 of Loves Park died Thursday, November 15, 2012 in her home. Born April 27, 1930 in Chicago, daughter of John and Lucille (Sullivan) Fish. Worked for Amerock for several years and after she retired worked for Septran through the Rockford School District. Dorothy was an avid in antiquing and loved to go to antique auctions. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to VNA Hospice for their wonderful care and support. Survivors include his children, Gwendolyn (H. James) Patterson, Michael (Susan) Welter, Virginia (Joseph) Ernst, Dale Welter, Deborah (Raymond) Zegunis, James Welter and Kelly (Caroline) Welter; grandchildren, Jeffery, Christopher, Jonathon, Joseph, Chelsea, Jason, Megan, Kaden and Callum and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Curtis in 2003. Graveside service Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family for a fund to be established.
