Dorothy E. Flynn, 103, of Rockford, died at 8:35 pm, Tuesday, January 1, 2008 in Provena St. Anne Center.nbsp; Born September 22, 1904 in Pecatonica, IL, the daughter of George and Mable (Hoyt) Doty.nbsp; Graduated from Pecatonica High School.nbsp; She married Raymond A. Flynn in Pecatonica on September 26, 1925 and lived in Pecatonica for many years where they co-owned F amp; F Assembly.nbsp; Dorothy, Ray and daughter Jane moved to Rockford and after the death of Ray in 1964, she worked for DJ Stewart Co.nbsp; She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and active in the parents group of Mount St. Josephs in Lake Zurich where her daughter resided. Dorothy was a resident at St. Anne Center for many years and she was a great favorite of the staff.nbsp; Her family extends their gratitude to St. Annes for the loving care Dorothy received.nbsp; Survivors include her daughter, Jane of Lake Zurich, IL; nieces, Shirley Corey of San Diego, CA, Nan Geddeis of Rockford, Carole Gasparini of Chatsworth, CA, Nancy Eckburg of Rockford; nephews Gerald Doty of Rockford, James Flynn of Beaver Dam, WI and Bruce Doty of Carrollton,TX.nbsp; Predeceased by parents; husband, Ray; brother Wilbur Doty; sisters, June Hamilton, Helen McDonald, Catherine Doty and Ruth Flynn;nbsp; niece, Betty McDonald; nephews, Fay Hamilton, Robert McDonald and John Flynn.nbsp; Funeral service at 10:30 am, Saturday, January 5, 2008 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave, with Father Robert Sweeney officiating.nbsp; Interment in St. Marys Cemetery in Pecatonica Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.nbsp; Memorial gifts may be donated to Mt.
