Dorothy "Dottie" Louise Pfalzgraf, 71

Rockford—Dorothy "Dottie" Louise Pfalzgraf, 71 of Rockford died after a rigorous battle with cancer on October 14, 2014. Born April 2, 1943 to Louis and Madonna (Donovan) Brenke in Dubuque, Iowa. Married Carl Pfalzgraf on June 18, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa. Dottie had a special art for needlepoint, crosstitch, and quilting. A master gardener who volunteered at Klehm Arboretum, President of the Northern Illinois Botanical Club and President of the Gardening Club.
Survivors; Husband Carl; Children, Tammy (David) Hooks, Jeffrey (Lisa) Pfalzgraf of Geneva Switzerland, Kristen (Oscar) Garza and Carla Pfalzgraf of Baraboo, WI; Grandchildren, Lindsay Sechler, Ashley (Mark) Vaughn, Audrey Hooks, Rorric Pfalzgraf, Bryce Pfalzgraf, Oscar Garza Jr., Karlah, Olivia and Michael Garza, Isabella and Noelle Vedro; Great-Grandchildren, Nolan and Annistyn Vaughn; Sister Patricia (Ron) Smith; Nephew, Josh (Christine) Smyth; Two very special friends Pat Olafson and Sandy Tenggren. Predeceased by her Mother Madonna and Great-Grandson Liam Vaughn

Funeral Service 12 pm Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation from 10 am until the time of service on Saturday at the Funeral home. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Family for an organization to be named at a later date.
