DOROTHY C. GANNON, 84, Rockford, died at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.nbsp; Born April 2, 1923 in Rockford, daughter of Stanley M. and Stella Walczak Lucek. Graduate of Muldoon High School. Married John E. Gannon on October 20, 1973.nbsp; Employed as the Office Manager at Rockford Dry Goods for many years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and formerly a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.nbsp; She was also a member of the Blackhawk Trails Hiking Club. Dorothy was a devout, kind and considerate woman who always thought of others. nbsp; Survivors include her daughter Bonnie (Brian) Polster; sons, Scott Gannon and Ronald Mike Gannon; grandchildren, Andrew amp; Amy Polster; several grandchildren; aunt, Martha Cieslak and numerous nieces and nephews.nbsp; Predeceased by her parents; husband, John; brothers, Walter (Madge), Julian (Blanche), and Stanley (Adele) Lucek; and sister, Sr. Mary Donald. nbsp; A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2007 in Holy Family Catholic Church.nbsp; Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 4-6 p.m. Sunday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 5:30 p.m.nbsp; A visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass at the church on Monday.
