Dorothy A. "Connie" (Fishe) Gillen, 81 Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and endearing friend. Rockford--Dorothy A. (Fishe) Gillen, 81, died at 10:35 p.m. on October 14, 2008 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital. Born November 13, 1926 in Racine, WI to Joseph and Adah (Mason) Conery. Dorothy was a LPN at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Connie will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched. Survivors include: Son; Thomas (Diane) Fishe of Rockford. Daughters; Jan Johnson, Jeanne (Lyle) Greenfield, Nancy (Mike) Dzik, Patricia (Dale) Beard. 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. Brother Wayne Conery, sister in law Phyllis Conery. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, son Ted Fishe, daughter Cindy Sparrow, and brother Bob Conery. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2008 at Cathedral of St. Peter. With Fr Alejandro Del Toro officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a Chrisitan wake service at 2:30 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Riverside Chapel) 3910 N.
