Dora M. Kohler

Dora M. Kohler, of Rockford, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Anne Center. Born February 1, 1932 in Rockford, the daughter of Norman E. & Virginia E. (Gray) Swenson. Lived all her life the Rockford area. Married Robert J. Kohler in Rockford, on July 11, 1970. Robert predeceased her on July 9, 1993. Dora worked for Illinois Bell as a telephone operator, retiring in1983 after 26 years. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include children, Pamela (Duane) Shippy, Perry (Corina) Kohler, Payton (Karen) Kohler and Klinton Kohler; stepchildren Karla (Troy) Stone and Kathleen (Don) Kennedy; Nine grandchildren's, seven great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and two step grandchildren; sister Sandra (Tom) Wiles. Predeceased by parents, husband, daughter, Patricia, 1 sister and 1 brother.
