Donna Lee Anderson Grimes

Donna Lee Anderson Grimes, 79, Rockford, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, in Amberwood Nursing Centre. She was born in Geneva, the daughter of Sten and Margie (Allen) Anderson. She attended Lily Lake Grade School in Geneva and graduated from Elburn High School in 1955. She married Lowell H. Oranger on June 18, 1955, and were married for 21 years. From that marriage they had 3 children. Lowell passed away in April of 1976. Donna then married Donald F. Grimes on January 1, 1988. She was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. Donna is survived by her 3 children, her 2 step-children, her 6 step-grandchildren, her 6 grandchildren and a sister. Private burial in Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family.
