Donna J. Veach

DONNA J. VEACH, 69, of Rockford, passed away at home with her friends
by her side on Thursday, September 5, 2013. Donna was born March 22, 1944
in Rock Grove, Illinois. Donna participated in Special Olympics in her younger years,
enjoying winning medals and going down state. She also enjoyed being with animals, and seeing a baby would make her smile. Donna also enjoyed a good root beer float,
shake, or Oreo cookie. Donna leaves behind many friends and siblings, Virginia (Bob) Keister, of Freeport, Helen Conklin, of New York and Albert (Grace) Veach, of Maryland. who loved her.
Thank you to Northern Illinois Hospice for years of caring for Donna, and to Mary / Thema for lways being there for her. Thank you to the staff at Southbridge Group Home, your great care gave Donna many happy years. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Irene, and brother, Louis Veach.

Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Milestone, Inc., Elmwood Heights, 2662 Elmwood Road, with Pastor Bob Taylor officiating. Memorials may be made to Milestone, Inc., 2662 Elmwood Road, Rockford, Illinois, 61103. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, assisted in completing the arrangements.
