Donna J. Kinczewski

Donna J. Kinczewski, 72, Rockford, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 2, 2013. She was born in LaSalle, IL on November 12, 1940; the daughter of Gerald and Virginia (Michalski) Weiden. Donna graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School in 1958. She went on to complete her Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University. She married William Kinczewski in St. Joseph Catholic Church on October 21, 1961. Donna was a teacher at several different schools throughout her career. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting and was a member of the Quilt Club of Lake Summerset. She was also an avid reader and a member of several book clubs in Freeport and Lake Summerset. Donna will be missed by all who loved her and those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, William; her children, Connie (Daniel) Johnson of Ames, IA, Cara (David) Schuster of Batavia, IL and William (Marianne) Kinczewski of Rockford; grandchildren, Kyle and Katie Johnson, Nicholas, Madeline and Jack Schuster and William Kinczewski. Predeceased by her parents; grandson, Alex Kinczewski; brother, Gerald Weiden.
Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in St. Rita Catholic Church, 6284 Valley Knoll Dr. Visitation from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at Church.
