Donald F. Grandt

Donald F. Grandt, 66, passed away on November 15, 2019. Born on February 8, 1953 in Stone Park, Illinois son of Donald E. and Cecelia J. (Stern) Grandt. He married Peggy Tarter on January 14, 1977 in Batavia, Illinois. Donald was an active person with fishing and music. He also loved to take on odd jobs often for himself and other loved ones. He also spent some time building ponds and their irrigation systems, he would tinker with anything that came his way. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be missed and survived by his wife, Peggy; Daughter Marikay (Alek Aljaman) Grandt; Grandchildren; Noah and Sophia Aljaman; Siblings Michael (Teri) Grandt, Robert (Millie) Grandt and Katie Leftwich; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Jay Donald Grandt and his parents.
