Donald Albin Pearson

Donald Albin Pearson, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 peacefully in his sleep at Wesley Willows.nbsp; Born Nov. 2, 1931 in Rockford, son of Albin and Eva (Anderson) Pearson.nbsp; Don served our country during the Korean war. Don attended Rockford public schools and graduated from Northwestern University in 1960 with a degree in Communications.nbsp; Don was the long time owner/operator of the Dog lsquo;n Suds restaurant on S. Alpine. He was also employed many years by B amp; H Office Furniture on Broadway.nbsp; Don had an enduring faith in the unique powers of the individual exhibited through his support of a strong work ethic, small business, and wholesome family values.nbsp; He is survived by his cousin Dorothy Kohlberg. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Geraldine Pearson, good friend, Marilyn M. Dohm, and several cousins.nbsp;
