Dolores "DEE" A. Staskauskas, 67 Machesney Park Dolores "DEE" A. Staskauskas, 67 of Machesney Park died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. after a heroic battle against cancer at SwediahAmerican Hospital. Born March 5, 1943 in Rockford to Joseph and Marge (Pozzani) Lozdoski. DEE was the previous owner of Trendsetters Hair Studio and worked in the medical field at Rockford Clinic before becoming a homemaker. DEE had many hobbies that included her love for reading books, the New York Yankees, music, dancing, hanging out with her girlfriends at the mall (She was born to shop), spending time with the grandchildren made her soul soar, playing and cuddling with her dog "Smudge" , Quiet mornings, having coffee with her husband, and all the special moments shared with her husband and soul mate Al. She was a great friend and was loved by everyone that met her. To all of you who prayed for Dolores to be cured know that your prayers were answered this day. Thank You. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. All her friends who touched her heart and life. Smudge her dog that kept her company throughout her illness and wouldnt leave her side. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Marge (Pozzani) Lozdoski. Memorial Service 6 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Road with Rev. Dr. Murray Hanson officiating.
