Dianne B. Dotzler, 60, of Roscoe, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Born August 3, 1952 in Decorah, Iowa; daughter of Nels and Betty (Gilbert) Bakken. Graduate of Decorah high school. She married Gary Dotzler on June 22, 1987. Worked as a gum maker for Warner Lambert until her retirement and then worked at the Historic Auto Museum. Dianne was a member of the Red Hat Society, Relay for Life and Curves. She enjoyed crafting, camping, gambling, and Harley Rides. She also liked cooking for kids groups at church and going to Mary'¢s Market. Survivors include her husband, Gary; brothers, Robert (Peggy), Reggie (Amy), Randy, Keith, Tom and Rick (Julie) Bakken; sisters, Sandra (Arnie) Dotzler, Becky Bakken and Mary Ann (Steve) Leonard; her dogs, who were her children, Harley and Max; shared grandchildren, Dalton, Conrad and Carson Dotzler, Dillon and Dustin Fowler; forever friend, Sue Lensing. Predeceased by her parents, Nels and Betty Bakken; brotherinlaw, Donald Dotzler and mother and fatherinlaw, Edward and Helen Dotzler.Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1300 Pearl Street, Belvidere with Reverend Karl Otto officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 " 8:00pm on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
