Diane Rogge

Diane (Lukaszewski) Rogge, 65 of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Jun 7, 1950, in Rochdale, England the daughter of Walter and Lily (Urban) Lukaszewski. She graduated from Muldoon High School class of 1968. She married Michael Rogge on March 20th, 1987 in Rockton at the Church by the Side of the Road. Diane was an electrical secretary for the City of Rockford. In addition, she owned her own cleaning business. She was an active member at Holy Family Catholic Church. Diane enjoyed cooking, being outside gardening, sewing, and was an avid animal lover.
Survivors include husband, brother Les (Allison) Lukaszewski; step mother Halina Lukaszewski; In-laws Jim and Mary Ann Rogge; sisters-in-law Susan (Terry) Peterson and Karen (Mitch) Cannell; aunts Theresa Lukaszewski and Selna Kopico; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Adam and parents. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Kennedy, Dr.Webber, and Dr. Laconte of UW Madison, Doctors, Staff and Family of Beloit Health Systems, Dr. John Edwards and the staff of Swedish American Cancer Care and Northern Illinois Hospice for all their care and support and an extra special thank you to Theresa Lukaszewski, Mary Ann Rogge, and Dawn Rinaldo for the care and comfort they gave to Diane.
Funeral mass will be held 11 am Monday, February 1, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of mass at the church. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.
