Diana R. Bonacquisti

Diana R. Bonacquisti, 60, Rockford, died Friday morning, August 1, 2008 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born January 7, 1948 in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of Paul and Marilu Townsend Stankee. Rockford resident since 1974. Married Ronald D. Bonacquisti on July 10, 1993. Faith-filled member of Calvary Christian Church where she was the church organist until her health required her to step down from that position. Employed as a registered nurse at Rockford Memorial Hospital for over 25 years, retiring in 2000. Diana enjoyed music and doing cross-stitch. She had a great love for animals, but above all, her children and family were always first in her life. Survivors include her husband, Ronald; sons, Michael, Bryan and Seth; step-children, Jeremy, Sarah and Rachel; sister, Pamela (Larry) Kuster; brother, Paul (Sandy) Stankee and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and her sister, Linda Schmidt. Funeral service at noon on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in Calvary Christian Church with Pastor Steve Doyle officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation at the church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Memorials may be made to the family.
