nbsp; Dennis James Hogan, 55, of Rockford, died at 4:30 PM, Monday, August 27, 2007 in Rockford Memorial Hospital.nbsp; Born April 12, 1952 in Rockford, the son of Byron and Hilda (Wallschlaeger) Hogan.nbsp; Attended St. Patrick Grade School, a 1970 graduate of Boylan High School where he was a member of the Key Club, and attended U of I in Champaign. Employed as an electrician and communications with many local contractors.nbsp; Member of IEBW Local No.51.nbsp; Also member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where he was a cantor, volunteered at the St. Patrick Booth on the Waterfront and alsonbsp; for the corn beef and cabbage dinners.nbsp; Dennis is survived by his daughter, Tessie Hogan and son, Byron Hogan both of Byron, IL; mother, Hilda of Rockford;nbsp; brother, Daniel (Melanie) Hogan of Roscoe;nbsp; sisters, Margaret Schobinger of Loves Park and Cathe (Brian) Glenn of Winnebago;nbsp; many nieces and nephews and cousins;nbsp; godmother, Kay Robinson; his 4 legged companion, Chelsea;nbsp; and mother to his children, Theresa Hogan of Byron.nbsp; Predeceased by his father, Byron James Hogan and sister, Barbara Ann Hogan.nbsp; Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, Friday, August 31, 2007, in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Brian Geary officiating.nbsp; Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N.
