Dennis Craig Bishop

Dennis Craig Bishop, 74, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022. He was born on July 14, 1947 to Lloyd and June (Green) Bishop. He married Nancy Dewey on December 27, 1969 in DeKalb, Illinois. After serving in the Navy, Dennis completed his teaching degree at Northern Illinois University. While teaching in District 205, he earned his Master’s Degree. After retirement he developed an interest in Ancestry, eventually becoming the family historian, documenting the Bishop/Dewey ancestral records. He also enjoyed golfing, travel, and creating unique pieces of paper art. He is survived by his wife; sister in law; Susan Stearns and niece; Katie Stearns. There is no service planned at this time.
