Delores K Davis

Delores Karen (Book) Davis, 69, formerly of Leaf River, IL; passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. Born at home in Leaf River on October 23, 1946; to parents, Clarence and Jessie (Martin) Book. Delores graduated in 1964 from Leaf River High School. She married John Davis on November 19, 1966 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Oregon, IL. She was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rockford.
Delores in survived by her son, Aaron (Vanessa) Davis; three grandchildren, Syrina, Aaric, and Kalleigh; brothers, Harold (Cheryel) Book, Glenn (Katharine) Book, David (Linda) Book; sisters, Dorothy Butt, Helen Myers, Marjorie Genandt, and Mildred Samons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband John in 2010; her son, Eric Davis on June 3, 1996, while serving in the U.S. Marine Corp at the age of 30; brothers, Albert & Everett Book; and sister, Doris Book.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 23, 2015; at Calvary Baptist Church, 6286 Linden Rd., Rockford, IL; with Pastor Mike Killian officiating.
