Delores J Sunderman

Delores J. Sunderman, 85 of Elgin died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her son's home. She was born August 16, 1928 the daughter of Carl and Ruth Anderson. Married her loving husband of 51 years Dean. Delores was employed at various places throughout her life, always striving to provide the best for her family. A member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Elgin and was an important part of a very special support group, Make Today Count. She enjoyed flowers, shopping and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandson and her sisters. Survivors include her son, Terry Sunderman of Elgin and fomer-daughter-in-law, Nancy of St. Charles and son, Kevin (Judy) Sunderman of Rockford; grandchildren, Heather (Tim) McDaniel and Dean (Jessica) Sunderman; great grandson, Logan; and sister Mary Schwab of Elgin. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Glenn and sisters, Lucille Noe and Betty Barringer. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at OSF Hospice and Home Health Care.
At Delores's request all service will be held privately. Cremation rites accorded by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel.
