Delaine Brian Koch Ii

Delaine Brian Koch II, 40, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born October 25, 1977, in Rockford, the son of Delaine B. Koch, Sr. and Carol Sue Koch (Rhodes). Graduated from Belvidere High School, class of 1996. Married Hollister Arnett in McHenry County, on March 21, 2000. He was a dedicated employee of Discount Tire Company, where he worked for over 19 years as a Senior Assistant Manager. He was known for his strong work ethic, wealth of knowledge, quick wit and compassionate generosity. Brian was friend to all and beloved by many. Brian was an RC racing and crawling enthusiast, loved his dogs, Piper and Ellie, and “tolerated” their cat, Bailey. Most of all, Brian loved his wife and family.

Survivors include wife, Hollister; father, Delaine (Becky) Koch, Sr.; mother, Carol Sue Koch; siblings Katherine (Andronicus) Hamilton, Karen Petersen Berg, Jessie (B.J.) Stafford and Eryn Peterson; uncles and aunts; nieces and nephews; life-long friends; his Discount Tire family; RC and crawling family, all of whom are too many to name. He is predeceased by both maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Fitzgerald Funeral & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The family welcomes casual attire and asks those who would like to, please share a story or memory of Brian at the service.
