Loving Wife and Mother

Dee Ann Blee, 58, of Belvidere, was welcomed home on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 10, 1957; to parents, Dr. James and Edna Earle (McGoldrick) Daniel. She lived for many years in Nashville, Tennessee, before moving to Rockford, IL, in 2000. Ann married her loving husband, Paul Blee on July 7, 2001, inside the Old Church at Midway Village in Rockford. Ann and Paul are faithful members of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where Ann served in many capacities as Elder, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. Ann worked for many years in sales, but most recently she was the Program Director for Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center. She was enthusiastic about her life and all things that she held dear. Ann loved to travel, gardening, reading and was an avid Tennessee Titans fan. Her caring and passionate approach to tending to her gardens spoke to the way that Ann lived and loved. She was a blessing to all of the lives that she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Blee; children, Jesse Woolman, Claire Woolman, and James Woolman; and stepmother, Rebecca Jane Daniel.

Ann is predeceased by her parents.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016; at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2821 N. Bell School Rd., Rockford, IL, 61107; with Rev. Dr. William Ward officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
