Debra Lucille Watson

Debra Lucille Watson, 71, Rockford, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in her home. She was born August 27, 1952, in Rockford, the daughter of Harold and Fern (Williams) Lowry. Debra married John “Lynn” Watson in Rockford. She was a Quality Control Inspector for Forest City Machine and later with Rockford Tool Craft until her retirement.

Survived by her husband, Lynn Watson of Rockford; her daughter, Stacey  (Paul) Cellitti and her son Eshawnial “Shawn” (Beth) Lowry, all of Rockford; her step children, Beth Ann (Aaron) Riggins and John (Tracie) Watson; her grandchildren, Sam, Avery and Nolan Cellitti, Elijah Lowry, Zach and Adriel Garcia; her step grandchildren, Juliana, Brooklynn and Luke Watson, Piper, Poppy and August Riggins; her great-grandchildren, Maliya, Anaya, Karter, Liam,  Audrina and Zoey; her sisters, Judy Stephens, Kathleen Emerson and Harriet Voss; her sister-in-law, Peggy Lowry; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Dale, Glenda, Audrey, Carol, Georgana and an infant brother, Ronald.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Halsted Road Baptist Church, 3326 Halsted Rd. Rockford.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services.
